Sensors of this type are primarily used for temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media. However, there is a broad palette of configuration and construction options that can be adapted to specific applications. Due to their make, these sensors may be used in temperature ranges between -200°C and +400°C.
These compositions are primarily used for measuring temperature in liquid and gaseous media. The cable sensors are often applied by Original Equipment Manufacturers, in ovens and in heating, ventilation and cooling equipment. There are many standard type cable sensors available but we regularly develop cable sensors according to customer specifications.
The connection cable is available in PVC, Silicone, FEP, PUR, PTFE and Glass fibre. The cable can be assembled with different connectors such as screw connectors, round DIN connectors, banana plugs, Molex plugs and end splices. As measuring element we apply thermocouple type K, type J, type L, type T or type U.
At the point where the sheath meets the cable, the sensors may be equipped with a teflon coating (moisture protection) and/or springs (cable break protection).
Other types of temperature sensors are referred to by their construction or mounting type, respectively their area of application.
